QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR STAY

  • What time is the check-in and check-out?

    15:00 check-in/10:00 check-out

  • Can I use the room if I arrive before check-in time?

    We will store your luggage and you are welcome to wait in the lounge until check in time.

  • Can I use the room after check-out time?

    This will vary according to the needs of the day. For this reason, please check at the front desk on the morning of your departure
    ・The following additional charges will apply:
    　- Until 15:00 - 3300JPY per room
    　- Until 18:00 - 5500JPY per room

  • Can I reserve a cot/crib during my stay?

    We are not able to arrange a baby cot.

  • Is there a free pick-up and drop-off service?

    Yes, Check-in day … there is a free pick-up service from JR Hakuba station or Hakuba Happo bus terminal.(2:30pm - 9pm)
    Check-out day … drop off servie to Haappo Bus terminal or JR Hakuba train station, at 9:00 / 9:30 / 10:00 / 10:30.

    Please inform us of your expected arrival time when you make your reservation.

  • Is there a choice of payment method?

    We accept cash and various credit cards (VISA | Mastercard | AMEX | JCB ). If you pay for activities like lift tickets and onsen visits at Skala please be aware that the cost will include a 5% surcharge, if paying by credit card.

  • Can I make a group or a whole-lodge reservation?

    Yes. We are happy to consider a bespoke package according to your budget requirements.

  • Is there the preparation for amenity in the room?

    It depends on the type of reservation,
    For rooms with bath and toilet
    Bath towels, face towels, foot towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, solid soap, cosmetic cotton, and cotton swabs are provided.
    Yukata (Japanese bathrobe) can be rented for 660 yen per piece.
    A hair dryer is available in each public bath.
    Basement rooms (no bath/toilet) do not have amenities or towels set.

  • Where is the nearby ski slope?

    10 minutes by car to Happo-One and Goryu 47 ski resorts
    15 minutes by car to Iwatake ski resort.
    There is a free shuttle bus
    The bus stop(Skala) to Happo-One and Goryu 47 ski resorts is 1 minute on foot.
    The bus stop(Oak forest) to Iwatake ski resort is 3 minutes on foot.

    The timetable of the free shuttle bus, please visit the homepage of each skiing area.

  • Can I rent the ski and snowboard?

    We recommend SPICY rental echo land shop and do free pickup and drop off to SPYCY.
    *If you want to use other shops, please arrange for by yourself.

  • Do you accept the reservation of the activity?

    Sorry, no. Please arrange for by yourself.

  • Is there a convenience store nearby?

    LAWSON and SevenEleven are about a 5 minute drive from Skala.

  • Is the parking lot free of charge?

    Yes. And a reservation is not necessary.

  • Can I smoke cigarette in the room?

    Sorry, the hall is entirely non-smoking.
    We set up an ashtray to the customer of the regular smoker on the entrance side.

  • Is there the washing machine for us to use?

    Washing machine(100JPY/1time) and Dryer(100JPY/10min) is available

  • Is there the vending machine of juice, liquor and the cigarette?

    There is a vending machine of juice beer in the corridor on the first floor.
    Sorry, there is no vending machine of the cigarette.

  • Can I use the Internet?

    Yes, you can use free WIFI Internet connection service.

  • Can I send the baggage beforehand?

    We can keep your luggage free of charge before check-in for up to 7 days.
    For luggage storage up to 8 days prior to check-in, a storage fee of 1,000 yen per week.

  • Does Skala have a place for guests to cook their own meals?

    No, there isn't.
    There is no kitchen for guests to use inside the building.
    No open flames are allowed in the room
    We appreciate your understanding.
